So here’s a little about me.

I started making websites when I was 13. I’m currently (as of 2016) 26. I failed countless times over the early 2000s, until finally making something worthwhile in 2007. I sold that website for a good $5,000 and took the knowledge I had with hopes of implementing it on newer websites. I spent 2007-2009 failing once again to create anything of substance, and almost gave up. I didn’t though, as I really, really wanted to make something of myself online so I didn’t have to go out and get a job. I really didn’t want to go out and get a 9 to 5 job, so I stayed with my mother, living out of the room I spent my life in.

This continued until 2011, when I finally made a site that really knocked it out of the park. Using black hat methods (tons of social bookmarks, forum posts, etc.) I managed to rank a website of mine and start making upwards of $30 per day. I was ecstatic. I scaled it up and within 6 months was making $100+ per day. Until I realized that how many backlinks I made left a bullseye on my back. In 2012, the website got hit by a penalty, and I lost it. I was so disappointed, and felt so defeated. I still didn’t give up however, and soldiered on knowing what I did wrong and what worked. Which lead to success at the end of 2012/beginning of 2013.

This time, I knew what I was doing, and from 2013-2014 I spent each day making anywhere from $100-$150 per day. In 2014-2015 I scaled it up further, making other websites in the same/similar niches, until I all but doubled my earnings from 2013-2014. Unfortunately, some of the websites I’ve made money with in the past no longer exist, as they ended up penalized as well. Nowadays, I’ve no need to resort to black hat methods as I make a decent enough amount off of my websites to pay my own rent and support myself.

This blog is an attempt at sharing what I know with everyone that cares. It’s not here to “get rich fast” or spread false information. It’s simply here to let others know what I’ve learned based off of experience, share what I’m currently doing and/or what is currently working, and post experiments of new projects I’m working on.

I don’t plan on boring you with any more of my past, but I will tell you that I don’t plan on beating around the bush with my posts, nor is any topic off bounds to me.
